I tailor my approach to psychotherapy, coaching, and assessment to your specific needs.
I am adept at meeting clients where they are, and holding a warm, containing, and non-judgmental space for exploration and discovery.
I lead from a strengths-oriented perspective, recognizing the capacity for resilience and healing in everyone I work with. It is important to me that we co-design the work of therapy and coaching, and I both expect and encourage you to take an active role in framing, developing, and fine-tuning the areas of focus and specific goals.
The relationship is of critical importance in therapy and coaching, and I take time to prioritize connection, safety, and empowerment in my work with clients.
Whether in coaching or therapy, I approach the work bi-directionally, and work from both a bottom-up and top-down perspective.
For example, a client who is interested in more effectively managing anxiety and stress, might begin our work by learning how to regulate their nervous system through movement and breath work, and then progress to learning mindset and cognitive reframing strategies for addressing their core beliefs about anxiety and stress.
Throughout the therapeutic and coaching process, I elicit feedback from clients to better understand what clients find helpful or difficult about the work and I make adjustments to adapt to your needs in order to facilitate a successful outcome.
Finally, I don’t conclude therapy or coaching simply when clients solve problems, reduce distress, or resolve symptoms, I continue to work with my clients to move to a state of flourishing, where all aspects of your life are good.
